What are Pure Professional Color Pigments?

Pure Professional Color Pigments are luxurious treasures mined from the earth, completely pure with absolutely no additives...none...no chemical dyes, talc, starch, or parabens. Create any look, defined, smoky, dramatic or soft.

These ultra-fine pigments glide on effortlessly and feel as good as they look. Rich, radiant color stays where you put it with no creasing and no fading.

Pigments are as versatile as they are long-wearing. The staying power of pigments is so great that they rarely need to be touched up.

These state-of-the art pigments are available in so many shades that there's one for every completion, no matter what ethnicity.

Recommended products for ethnic skin tones

The most popular foundation formulations for ethnic skin tones are our dual/wet dry pressed mineral foundation and our liquid mineral foundation. Both of these formulations are oil-free.

In combination with our foundations, our pressed mineral eyeshadow and blush pallets for medium/dark skin tones have been very popular amongst professional make-up artists as well as our professional mineral color tones.

These products are deeply pigmented offering the depth of color needed specifically for people with ethnic skin.

Color Keys Tips and Tricks

When using Color Keys, it is important to remember that the mixing pallet is your best friend!

Typically, I dispense a tiny amount of each Color Key (base, color transformer, sealant, gloss) into a separate well on the mixing pallet.  I don’t dispense the nail transformer until I am ready to use it.

When using Base, I use a professional makeup brush or my fingertips to apply Base lightly to the eyelid prior to color application.

When using Color Transformer (this is best for lips), I dip my lip brush into the color transformer and then dispense a “tiny” amount of mineral color tone into another empty well on the mixing pallet. Using my lip brush, I mix together and then apply to the lips.

I love the sealant! I dip my liner brush into the sealant and then dispense a “tiny” amount of mineral color tone into another empty well on the mixing pallet. I mix together and then apply as an eyeliner.

Creating a custom gloss is very flexible. Most of the time, I line the lips, apply gloss then use the mineral color tone to add dimension.

I do this by either mixing the mineral color tone into the gloss directly on the mixing pallet……or I apply the mineral color tone directly to the lips after the gloss has been applied.

To create fabulous lips, I have had great success in:

1. Line the lips

2. Dispense a “tiny” amount of mineral color tone into an empty well on the mixing pallet; dip my lip brush into the color transformer, mix together and then apply to the lips.

3. Using a shade slightly lighter than the color mixed with the color transformer, dispense a “tiny” amount of mineral color tone into an empty well on the mixing pallet; dip my lip brush into the gloss, mix together and then apply to the upper center and lower center of the lips to create dimension.

4. Blend with lip brush.

Another important tip……if you find that your colors have to much shimmer, dust the eyes loosely with a loose powder or your foundation powder. This will create a softer base and then you can blend and add additional colors.
